Premium and free plans serve different needs
ZoogVPN sells a paid Premium subscription alongside a separate free plan with a monthly data allowance. The free tier can help you explore the basic interface, but its allowance and restricted access should not be mistaken for the paid subscription. This review and the price selector refer to Premium.
The provider advertises a no-activity-logs policy and encrypted connections. Those statements describe its policy and product design rather than independent test results. Account information, browser identifiers and the permissions you grant websites remain relevant even while connected. Choose a VPN as one part of a broader privacy setup, with expectations suited to your actual use.
Platform support and protocol choices
ZoogVPN has product pages for Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, Linux and compatible routers. Its protocol table lists WireGuard and OpenVPN across these platforms. Availability of a protocol does not necessarily mean every device uses the same installation process; Linux or router configurations may involve additional setup.
For a household with several operating systems, inspect the relevant product instructions separately. A router connection can cover devices without native software, but only when its firmware supports the required VPN configuration. Avoid assuming that an ordinary ISP router can run the service or that every mobile feature appears on a desktop app.
Android exclusions and platform-specific protection
The Android product page documents split tunneling, which excludes selected apps from the VPN path. This can help when one app needs the ordinary connection while the rest use the tunnel. The Windows page labels that capability as coming soon, so Windows split tunneling is not counted as available here.
The kill switch feature page names Windows, macOS, Android and iOS. Check its setting and behaviour on your own device before relying on it. Current public copy also conflicts over simultaneous connections, with both unlimited and 10-device descriptions. The comparison leaves the limit unconfirmed rather than presenting the more generous claim as settled.
Read the total charge before monthly labels
The public Premium offers list USD 9.99 for one month, USD 39.99 for 12 months and USD 59.99 for 27 months, including three bonus months. The advertised monthly labels do not consistently match those totals. Our equivalent is calculated from the full charge and the stated service period.
These are initial public offers, with renewal amounts and periods still unverified. Do not assume that bonus months repeat or that a future charge matches the first payment. Check the final regional checkout, tax and recurring terms before committing. The lower displayed monthly equivalent is useful for comparison only when you can also see the actual upfront commitment.
When ZoogVPN may fit your shortlist
ZoogVPN may suit someone looking for a paid option with broad platform documentation and Android app exclusions. Keeping free and paid plans distinct makes it easier to compare the product you would actually buy. Its longer offer also deserves consideration when you are comfortable committing to the full initial period.
Some purchase questions still need confirmation, particularly the simultaneous connection limit, renewal charge and dedicated-IP eligibility. If any is essential, resolve it before subscribing rather than relying on a general feature list. This assessment covers published features and terms; we have not independently measured connection speed, streaming access or leak prevention for the service.
Plans, first payment and renewal
Introductory offers and renewals are different billing periods. Compare the actual charge and included months, not only an advertised monthly equivalent.

Questions about ZoogVPN
How many devices can connect simultaneously?
Current pricing copy conflicts: unlimited devices in upper offer blocks but 10 devices in the paid comparison table. Checkout indexed text also says 10. Do not promise unlimited connections until clarified.
Is the introductory monthly equivalent the renewal price?
No. It divides the exact first payment by its initial service period. Renewal is shown separately with its own charge and period; an unknown renewal is never inferred from the introductory offer.
Does a supported platform include every feature?
No. Protocols, split tunneling and kill switches can have different platform support. Use the feature descriptions above to check the app you intend to use.
Does ZoogVPN support split tunneling?
The Android product page supports excluding apps. Windows split tunneling is marked coming soon, so it is not treated as a current Windows feature.
Is the ZoogVPN monthly equivalent the amount charged each month?
Only the monthly plan is billed for one month. Annual and longer initial offers require their full listed payment upfront; the monthly equivalent divides that total by the included service months.
Before you choose
Regional offers, taxes and purchase channels can change the amount billed. Paid add-ons are identified separately, and unavailable pricing remains marked as not verified.
