Understanding the paid VPN product
iTop sells several utilities as well as its VPN, so begin with the specific subscription you are buying. This review covers the paid VPN product in the English store. Screen recording, desktop organization and other software are separate products, even when a promotion presents them together.
The service also offers free and trial access with different restrictions. Those editions can help you explore the interface, but they should not be used to describe the paid plan’s full allowance. Avoid equating an encrypted connection with complete anonymity: your accounts, cookies and the information you share with websites remain relevant while using a VPN.
Desktop and mobile availability
Official product pages provide apps for Windows, macOS, Android and iOS. That makes iTop a possible option for a household using conventional desktop and mobile devices, but the feature set still needs to be checked on each platform. A Windows capability does not automatically establish an equivalent iPhone setting.
Its Windows app can also share a local HTTP proxy with other devices. This is different from installing a standalone VPN on Linux or configuring a VPN router. A proxy must be configured by the receiving device or application, so do not assume that this arrangement covers every connection made by a console, television or Linux computer.
App selection and connection safeguards
The Android manual documents split tunneling, allowing you to choose which applications use the VPN connection. This is useful when one application needs a different network route, but it also means excluded traffic follows a different path. Review the selection whenever you add an app that needs protection.
The Windows product page explicitly describes a built-in kill switch and additional leak-protection features. These are documented capabilities rather than independently verified results here. Protocol labels such as TCP and UDP do not by themselves prove OpenVPN or WireGuard support. The comparison therefore leaves those protocols unconfirmed instead of interpreting generic networking labels as an implementation guarantee.
Standard prices and promotional differences
The standard English store lists initial payments of USD 11. 99 for one month, USD 41. 99 for six months and USD 47. 99 for twelve months. Its VPN product is labeled for 8 devices. Seasonal pages may present different bonus periods or allowances, so compare the actual item and charge before treating two offers as identical.
Recurring renewal amounts have not been confirmed in this review. The store explains that subscriptions can charge automatically after expiry, making the recurring terms relevant even when the first payment looks attractive. Check the final regional amount, taxes and cancellation process. A crossed-out comparison price is not sufficient evidence of the amount that will be collected at renewal.
Who should shortlist iTop VPN?
iTop VPN may fit users who want mainstream desktop and mobile apps and a clearly documented Android application selector. It is less straightforward for someone requiring a native Linux application, a specific router configuration or a particular open VPN protocol, because those requirements are not established by the material reviewed.
Static-address and dedicated-server wording also needs care: neither automatically means an exclusive personal IP address. If a fixed allowlisted address is essential, confirm that exact requirement before purchasing. Our assessment covers published product capabilities and commercial terms; it does not claim measured speed, streaming access, gaming latency or independent leak-test results.
Plans, first payment and renewal
Introductory offers and renewals are different billing periods. Compare the actual charge and included months, not only an advertised monthly equivalent.

Features and platform support
Support can differ between apps and operating systems. Platform coverage and limitations are shown below.
- Windows
Official native app product page.
- macOS
Official native app product page.
- Linux
Windows VPN can share a local HTTP proxy with Linux, but that is not a verified standalone Linux VPN client or whole-device tunnel.
Current support not verified.- iOS
Official native app product page.
- Android
Official native app product page.
- WireGuard / WireGuard-based protocol
No product-specific current WireGuard implementation verified. Generic protocol comparison articles do not establish support.
Current support not verified.- OpenVPN
Android manual labels Auto/TCP/UDP without identifying the underlying implementation; generic blog OpenVPN mentions do not establish platform-scoped support.
Current support not verified.- Kill switch
Windows product page explicitly documents a built-in kill switch; other platform parity not assumed.
Verified platforms: Windows.- Router support
Compatible native router VPN configuration not verified; Windows local proxy sharing is not router support.
Current support not verified.- Split tunneling
Android manual documents selecting apps to use the VPN; only Android verified here.
Verified platforms: Android.- Dedicated IP available
Static/dynamic address and dedicated-server marketing do not establish an exclusive personal IP address.
Current support not verified.
Questions about iTop VPN
How many devices can connect simultaneously?
Current VPN store product lists 8 devices. Separate promotional checkout pages may show other device allowances; not combined here.
Is the introductory monthly equivalent the renewal price?
No. It divides the exact first payment by its initial service period. Renewal is shown separately with its own charge and period; an unknown renewal is never inferred from the introductory offer.
Does a supported platform include every feature?
No. Protocols, split tunneling and kill switches can have different platform support. Use the feature descriptions above to check the app you intend to use.
Can I use iTop VPN on Linux?
A standalone Linux VPN installation was not verified. The documented Windows HTTP proxy-sharing feature is a different setup and should not be treated as whole-device Linux VPN support.
Does iTop VPN support Android split tunneling?
Yes. Its Android manual documents selecting applications to use the VPN connection.
