A VPN subscription and optional extras
GOOSE VPN offers a conventional VPN service and promotes an additional Cyber Alarm feature. These serve different purposes: a VPN changes the network path, while Cyber Alarm provides notifications about potential risks. Do not assume the extra is included merely because it appears beside the VPN in a product demonstration.
The company identifies itself as a Dutch provider. Location and branding can help explain who operates a service, but they are not a substitute for checking its terms and behaviour. A VPN does not remove the information you give websites through sign-ins, tracking identifiers or uploaded content. Choose its protection in the context of the rest of your setup.
Native apps and manual installations
GOOSE documents native Windows, macOS, Android and iOS apps, plus manual Linux and compatible-router options. Linux support therefore needs to be understood as a configuration workflow rather than assumed to offer the same desktop interface. The router also needs suitable firmware and VPN capabilities.
Windows support material shows a server selector, connection control and settings for automatic behaviour. Before committing, inspect the instructions for the devices you actually own. Some public platform pages include older operating-system examples, so check your current system version rather than treating a reference to an old Mac release as a complete compatibility statement.
Autopilot, protocols and the kill switch
The Windows guide documents Autopilot and trusted networks. This can change whether the VPN connects automatically on particular networks. That is distinct from split tunneling, which routes selected applications differently; current app-specific split tunneling support has not been established in this review.
The same Windows documentation describes a kill switch. OpenVPN support is explicitly documented for Windows and manual Linux use. Official protocol material also describes IKEv2 and older alternatives, but no current WireGuard implementation was verified. Select the protocol appropriate to your operating system instead of assuming that every protocol mentioned on the website appears in every application.
Monthly subscriptions versus lifetime offers
The current subscription page lists EUR 9. 99 for one month and EUR 59. 88 billed for a year. These are the subscription options used in the price comparison. A separate lifetime offer is a one-time purchase and should not be divided into an invented monthly price or confused with a renewing annual commitment.
Lifetime packages also vary by device allowance. Although older support material describes unlimited devices, the current homepage offers different device tiers. The monthly and annual subscription allowance remains unconfirmed here. The official page states EUR 9.99 billed monthly or EUR 59.88 billed yearly. These are the published recurring rates; confirm the final device entitlement and terms before buying.
The public plan labels EUR 9.99 monthly or EUR 59.88 annually as the recurring billing amount for the stated month or year. This records the published recurring rate, not a guarantee against future price changes. Confirm the final order terms for your purchase region.
When GOOSE VPN is worth considering
GOOSE may suit users who want familiar desktop and mobile apps with documented Windows automatic-connection controls. Manual Linux and router options can also matter when your devices do not all support the same application. Start by checking the exact operating systems and connection arrangements you need.
It is a less certain match when WireGuard, application exclusions or a guaranteed exclusive IP address are mandatory, because those capabilities have not been verified here. Keep optional security extras and lifetime packages separate from your subscription comparison. This review discusses published features and prices; independent speed, streaming, reliability and leak testing have not been performed.
Plans, first payment and renewal
Introductory offers and renewals are different billing periods. Compare the actual charge and included months, not only an advertised monthly equivalent.
| Plan | First payment | Monthly equivalent | Renewal |
|---|---|---|---|
| VPN — monthly | EUR 9.99First 1 months | EUR 9.99Introductory equivalent | EUR 9.99Every 1 months |
| VPN — annual | EUR 59.88First 12 months | EUR 4.99Introductory equivalent | EUR 59.88Every 12 months |
The published recurring subscription rates are EUR 9.99 monthly or EUR 59.88 yearly. These are current rates, not a guarantee against future price changes. Lifetime packages are separate offers.

Windows native application and maintained support installation article.

- WireGuard / WireGuard-based protocol

Questions about GOOSE VPN
How many devices can connect simultaneously?
2022 support article says unlimited, but current homepage lifetime products explicitly vary by 1/5/10 devices. Current monthly/annual checkout entitlement not established; do not mix lifetime packages into subscription allowance.
Is the introductory monthly equivalent the renewal price?
No. It divides the exact first payment by its initial service period. Renewal is shown separately with its own charge and period; an unknown renewal is never inferred from the introductory offer.
Does a supported platform include every feature?
No. Protocols, split tunneling and kill switches can have different platform support. Use the feature descriptions above to check the app you intend to use.
Is GOOSE VPN lifetime access the same as an annual subscription?
No. Lifetime packages are separate one-time purchases with their own device tiers. The annual subscription requires its stated yearly payment and recurring terms.
Does GOOSE VPN offer a Linux app?
Its Linux page documents manual configuration. Do not assume the Linux setup provides the same native graphical interface as the Windows application.
Before you choose
